Default Audio 10 CD tuning

I'm a new member and this is my first post, hope someone can help with my query.
My audio 10 cd radio will not tune by single digits in the MW/AM range e.g. cannot tune 674, it's either 670 or 680 - FM tuning is no problem.
It may be a problem in the system yet I feel it is something I may have done or have changed in the setup.
Will appreciate any helpful advice, thank you.

Hi,
Tend to agree with you. I haven't got the manual with me.
Suspect you are using the >l key rather than the > key for tuning.
Do you have RDS where you live? If so have you inadvertently turned RDS ON/OFF? Press the RDS button for a few secs to change mode.
Is AutoStore ON or OFF?
Do you have a manual?
If you continue to have a problem PM me with your email address so that I can send pages from the handbook.

Audio 10 is the standard european fit radio in MB vehicles certainly in the 2000 2004 year range. The head unit can come with a single CD or casette but has the ability to operate a remote 6 CD changer in the boot.
The units are high quality (much sought after as afdtermarket fit and sell well on eBay) and were made to MB spec by various manufacturers such as Becker and Alpine,

Audio 30 is the optional equipment radio and includes features like a remote control.

I believe different head units are fitted in the USA vs Europe.

Thanks for the rapid reply Stuart. I do have the owner's manual for the Audio 10 yet have found it a little skimpy on detail. I have followed through with your suggestions and tried various combinations but unfortunately no change, the Audio 10 will still not tune to single digits in MW/AM - oh for a manual tuning **** for that fine tune!
What I did find is that RDS can only be selected Off/On in the FM mode, RDS will not display in MW. I'm wondering if the computer fixall of a "cold boot" might do the trick for the tuning problem i.e. remove all power to the unit by pulling the radio CB/fuse and reset (if I can find it!)?
Thanks also for your comprehensive explanation to "C280 Wizard" re Audio 10.

The only additional that I can add to Stuart's explanation is that the radio fitted to my 2000 E320 plays a single CD and the unit is labelled "Mercedes Benz Audio 10 CD".
