ATF Specs for 2006 C2804matic 5 speed automatic PLEEZE!!!
Tried to get the specs forAutomatic Transmission Fluidfor my 2006 C 280 4matic (5-speed auto).
Mercedes Dealers are NO help and claim not to know the specs while MBUSA simply kept me on IGNORE for aprox 30 minutes today.
Can someone PLEEEEEEEZE give me a strait answer?

It would help if you could tell me which brands meet the spec. (I believe the factory uses something made by Pentosin.

your transmission is 722.690, right? (or else indicate VIN for every model got different one)

VIN # is WDBRF92H26F759203[/align][/align]I am hoping to find some alternatives to MB ATF such as Red Line Synthetic or Amsoil. Whenever I call Mercedes dealers or MBUSA, I get the "Deer in the headlights" rope-a-dope. The bastards continue to try to sandbag my efforts to find out what other ATF's meet spec.[/align][/align]Many thanks,[/align][/align]Will[/align]
