My temp sensor has gone out (not displaying on the dash)

Does anyone know where it is located on a 1998 ML320

I heard it was near the front bumper???

Any help on replacing would be appreciated !!!

first,
it is in the front bumper, i think driver's side

is just the bulb bad? they can be replaced. if the temp sensor goes bad usually youll still see a display still but itll be a default temp.
