You have the content of both CDs running from the Paragon CD emulator, right? Now uninstall, then delete the folders completely, reboot, then reinstall. The EPC should then run from the desktop icon.

 

What version of the TIS do you have? I cant seem to acquire any BMW TIS newer than 6/2003.Also do you kow of any good Volvo or VW/Audi EPCs? I got a Volvo CD manual made by Mitchell...but that thing sucks ...nothing like the BMW ETK.I cant find the EPC in that volvo cd.

I am a european car enthusiast that has made some good contacts in acquiring merchandise from defunct euro auto repair shops.I use as many parts as I can on my BMWs/Benzs/and 1 porshe....then dispose of the rest on ebay or to local shops.Thus my need for EPC for almost all european cars.

 

Oh -- one more thing. When the install asks if you want to copy to your hard drive, say no.

 

ok so i DONT copy the files to my HD.So I just run the EPC from the CDs.Now a desktop icon never appears nor does it ever ask.I was simply clicking on the mercedes icon found under program files.Im gonna uninstall everything again and just try again when I get back home.I have to go attend a lecture.Thanks for all the comments so for by everybody...seems to be a good forum thus far.

 

i got the latest ETKA version 6 for Audi and VW but nothing for volvo yet.

i'll send you a copy after a month. am going out town for a while.

 

That won't work -- the shortcut includes a command line of "MBPU". It won't run without that command line.
