Im new here and not too well up on diesel engines. I bought an ml 270 2002 about 4 months ago, it was fine for a while but got Smokey. Last week I brought it to my local garage and they said it had been run on agro diesel. I use normal from the pump green diesel. All the filters hav been changed but the stuff they took from engine was like coal and egr was almost completely. Blocked with it. Its in the garage Tomorrow to be completely cleaned, but my question is how do I get rid of all the agro diesel damage, what damage can I expect, any advice would b great

 

Cool. Im kinda getting U, but when U say garbage what do U mean. I think the owner before me might have added something else to diesel. I ve only used stuff from gas station. The injecters and generally whole engine bay is covered in this hard thick soot stuff that's very hard to get off. Well I ve just dropped it at garage cause only saw ur post now. I ll let U know how I get on
This mite b silly question would there b a difference in agro diesel here in rep.of Ireland than what U guys have in the states?
