Default 95 E420 powersteering fluid pouring out!

I have a 1995 E420 that has been requiring me to add p/s fluid occassionally over the last couple of years. After leaving it in a valet garage in 5 degree weather, the power steering went out by the time it was brought down 8 levels to me. The garage requires aggressive steering. I drove it to the store and filled it. The power steering kicked back in for about 30 seconds (which makes me think that the pump itself is still functioning). It went out on the way home and now when I fill it, it pours out from behind the front wheel.

I'm suspecting a hose or a fitting. Has anyone replaced any of these parts. When I get home today, I will begin tearing it apart to investigate. Any recommendations? Is it a hard area to access? Thank you in advance for any assistance that you can offer.

Andy

Andy,

Check the power steeringpressure hose. Typically, this isthe one that goes bad as the other hose is the return and isn't subjected to pump output pressure.

Good luck,

John

yeah, maybe it has a problem with the power steering hose. Try also to go to auto shop, they will help you solve your problem with your car.
