It appears that my recently purchased car has developed what looks to be a leaking steering rack. Is anyone familiar with how difficult and expensive replacing the rack on this car is? I have not had the car in the air to confirm it but, I thought I would look at the worst case scenario.

 

Note to self, this car doesn't have rack and pinion steering. I have a leaking steering damper
