'87 300sl, wet floor?
Hello,
I'm new to the forum and a new owner of a Mercedes. I recently acquired a lovely 300sl R107, she drives like a dream but I have noticed the carpets and floor pan are a little wet- any ideas on what this is likely to be?
Thanks.

there is a drainage tube usually in the footwell attached to the center console side that is from the evaporator and or climate control box. SOmetimes that tube burst and cause wet floor. Also busted heater core box which is usually accompanied by a strong antifreeze smell.
