Hi,

I just brought a 87 Mercedes 300DT. I have a problem. The other day, I was stoped and I thought
I had it on parking, but was not. I click on the windows botton, to close the windows, and I couldn't.
The warning light come on and I stoped the engine. I couldn't start it again. The AAA come and
jumped start the car. However I cannot close the windows, sunroof, no headlights, and God knows
what else. Questions:

1) Does any one experienced a similar problem?

2) I think that alternator is not working properly? Am I correct?

3) Could it be a short in the windows power/motor?
