So I need a first car and come hell or high water I want it to be the car in the title. The problem is my father would have to lend me the money and he's never bought anything older than ten years (except for an '88 corolla). Just for a little background here's his car history from 2010

He said my first car would have to be reliable and cheap. I've got the cheap part done ($3000) but I don't know if it's reliable or not and if something breaks will the parts quickly out-cost the car.

From the pics and description the car looks stunning. If someone could let me know of the reliability or give me any ideas on how to convince him for it to be a good first car I would be eternally grateful. I really don't want my first car to be a Camry
