I have a Mercedes 1987 560SL, 72,000 miles and perfectly maintained.The car startS instantly from a completely cold start. It will idle smoothly until reaching operating temp (around 80c) at which time it stalls and will not restart until completely cold ….several hours later. The car will always start instantly from a cold start and stall at 80c.The following have been replaced:Crank Position Sensor (MB brand)Bosch Distributor Cap (Bosch matching original part #)Bosch rotor button (Bosch matching original part #)Coolant Temp SensorBoth Fuel PumpsFuel Filter BatteryBosch O2 sensor has about 2,500 miles on itSwapped out another matching EZL but the car will not start at all with the replacement…reinstalled the original which will start it from cold.
Seems the CPS would be the likely culprit...maybe the new one is bad??

Suggestions greatly appreciated.
