I have a 1990 420 sel that had tranny repaired 2 yrs ago, but because of fuel pump problems the car was not used for 1yrs. I recently put new fuel pumps in car but now it runs but won't shift. We checked everthing , vacum ,fluid levels,etc.. everything ok, so someone suggested i check the governor. Is this something I can do my self, how do I know if this is the problem ,what will I be looking for ??
Please help, this is a nice car but my wife wants me to get rid of it, but I just can't let go yet of this beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
