i have a 380sl 1981 auto
every so often we i start it vibrates for just few second the smoothes out and runs great. it doen't seem to matter if it has been sitting or not.
i would also like to know if any one can recommend a good mechanic in the omaha ne area

If you're feeling a noticeable vibration on startup, it may be simply a misfire in 1 or more cylinders. If it smooths out quickly, a couple seconds, I wouldn't agonize over it. If the vibration continues for a lengthier period of time, you might check motor mounts.
