Quick question, how many miles did your Factory 255/45R17 tires last for you? These are the rubberband type performance tires. I had about 15K mi. When I went in to get my snow tires installed, they said that these tires are all worn out ~ 1CM left on treads.

 

1 cm seems like a lot of tread. What do the wear markers show?

 

Wear marks are slighly worn on the rear tires while front tires are right at the wear marks.

 

I guess they're right. They're goners.
