Hi All:
I'm a retired GM trained trying to help a disabled elderly neighbor. She has a 2013 Mercedes E350 that sat in about 12" of water for a day after Ian. The battery was dead, I charged it and it's OK ( after disconnecting it from the the car) When I reconnect the battery There is no power, no lights, dash lights etc.no crank.
Any suggestions where I should start looking.

My 2010 E350 Roadster won't begin! I put the coxcomb in the start and on second thought of the standard delicate whirr I was welcomed with a practically difficult whirr, as though something was attempting to choke it. Took the key out, attempted once more, same clamor. Third time nothing occurred. Lights come on and the dandy can turn however the engine doesn't turn over. This is all I want two days prior to going on an excursion! Anybody understands what this may be?
