I have a 2009 SL 550 and when selecting the CD player on the Command System I receive a “Please Wait” message that never goes away. I have reset the system, pulled the appropriate circuit breakers and disconnected the supply battery in an attempt to reset the system and have had no luck in eliminating the please wait message. I’ve read that unplugging the radio control module may solve the problem but cannot seem to locate that component.

1. Is the radio control module embedded in the Command System on the 2009 model?

2. If not, can you provide location of the radio control module?

3. Any additional recommendations to solve the please wait message?
