My first post. Has anyone else had this problem (and hopefully knows how to fix it?)
My cd changer stopped working. I have the standard MB 6 disc changer in the glovebox. No matter if I put 1 or 6 cds in, it tells me the magazine is empty. I think I know what caused it. I took a cd out the other day, and usually when i put the magazine back it, it cycles thru to see if there are cds. I was in a rush and shut the car off before it completed its cycle. Now it won't work at all.
Is there a reset somewhere? Will taking the fuse out and replacing it help? This is the first car I've owned with a cd player (yeah, I'm slowing catching up with the times) and I really don't want to be stuck with the radio only.
Any words of advice are greatly appreciated.
