Question 2001 E 430 won't start

My E 430 will not start, replaced the fuel pump, checked the pump relay, and ruled out the MAF. I am looking for some advice from someone with more knowledge than me, is there anything else it might be?

Crank Position Sensor - the usual suspect.

At the back of the engine. Looking from the front, between noon and 1pm on a clock. At the joint between the engine and transmission bellhousing. A wire connector going to it. One torx type fastener holding it in. Once the wire is disconnected and the fastener removed, you may have wiggle it out. Simple job really.

You'll need your VIN to get the correct one.

Bad CPS - you'll turn the key fob and let go, and the engine will spin for some seconds without actually lighting off, then times out and stops spinning. The first time this happens, usually when engine is hot, starts once engine cools off a bit, but then gets progressively worse, eventually not starting at all.

But it could be something else, of course. But that's the usual culprit,
