Hello everyone, new to this forum. A week ago I bought the car, a 2000 S430, During the test drive everything was okay, now I have a rough idle when the engine comes to operating temperature, other then that the car drives and performs excellent. Anyone had this problem and found a solution? Your input would be highly appreciated.

Nobody seems to have an answer to my post, not even a suggestion. So I will post the reply myself to help those who also might have this problem, because I solved the problem myself, and a little common sense go's a long way. A tuneup did the trick, new spark plugs, new air filter, oil change which is probable not related to the rough idle but I did it anyway, replaced all the filters including the power steering pump filter, put the car on a scanner, adjusted the idle, and there it was, beautiful smooth idle, and more power, and a better fuel consumption. I am aware that I probable got lucky that it was not something serious, because although it is indeed a fantastic ride, parts prices are out of this world. Anyway, I hope this helps a little for people who might run into this problem with there Benz.
