I have a 99c230 kompressor. The sunroof sunshade fabric has come loose from the panel. How do you remove the panel for repair? New member, thanks for your help. Dusty

 

glass needs to come out first. open the back of the roof to tilt, then inside the car there are the accordian rubber things on the sides of the sunroof, you might not have these on your car accually. , pull them off then youll see 3 screws on either side, torx screwdriver youll need, pull out glass. then slide the shade forward and then push in the plastic/meatl tabs that slide along the track and pull out the shade from the top of the car... pay attention to the postion of the sunroof glass to the roof before removing it. cause you can get wind noise and water leaks and roof binding if you dont get it close to what it was.
