my parking lights go on by themselves and i cannot find a way to turn them off.

 

have you replaced any bulbs recently? also check the plug sockets/ harness in the front turnsignal they had issues in the past..just internally go bad. try jiggling them or adjusting them so the contacts make better contact. try unplugging them and see if the lights go off? are all lights on? front and rear parking lights or just one side or all lights? could also be the headlight switch assembly, ive replaced a few of them in the past. also make sure the correct bulbs are installed. the rear taillights bulb housings had issues.

 

Allfour lights go on. A new light switch had no effect. I removed all of the fuses and replaced them one at a time ;the lights stayed on .We exchanged the reays onthe left side with ones from another vehicle. NO effect.The only light bulb changed was a fog light qand that was just a few days ago. I think the car is haunted! Fotokat
