Hello,
Help please! My car is presently at the mechanics for the 3rd week in a row. I have a 1994 Mercedes E320 with 130,000 miles.
Problem: Car starts fine 8 am...temp is in the 60's. Drive 10 miles with A/C on. Leave car outside on pavement for 8 hours. Try to start car at 6pm...temp in the 80's/90's...have VERY difficult time starting. Will start after a couple of tries and pumping the gas pedal. It's getting very close to not starting at all and leaving me stranded.
Mechanic replaced crank thingamagig. Now he thinks it might be a computer problem not letting the car know it's getting fuel or something. He said he's not really sure what is wrong. It's been in his shop 5 times over the past year with this problem. Anywho...at this point I am very aggravated and would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank-you!
