Default 1987 420sel completely dead

I need help! 1987 420sel parked car, came out half hour later to find no power at all, called motor club for jump start. Unable to jump start, battery is good, power at fuse box. When I turn key there is no power at all in car, no lights...nothing. Could this be the ignition switch? Please help.

If you have nothing powered, it must be a bad connection at the battery or at the other end of the cable. If it were the switch, you would still have lights.

Maybe battery shorted out internally. Take it out and get it tested at a autozone or a place like that.
