I am new to the board. I need to replace both the driver side and passenger side power window regulators since the pot metal that raises the window broke off. Also, the pot metal holding the motor broke. Does anyone know of a way to repair the pot metal rather than having to replace the regulator or motor itself? It looks pretty straightforward to remove, but just in case can anyone share any special knowledge needed to remove and replace? Also, anyone know where I can get a speedo cable to fit - Mercedes quoted a price of $160 which seems awfully high to me. VIN # -10702412000878. Thanks.
