Default 1969 280 SE Convet

Hello, I am new to the forum and have recently aquired a 1969 280 SE Convertible. I know very little about Mercedes models and their assorted designations.

A couple of questions if you please. In researching the 69 280 SE, I come across "Convertibles" and "Cabriolets" - what, if any, is the difference between the two? Also, I believe the SE designates "Sonder Einspritz" (Super Injected) - is that correct?

Thank you in advance for any replies.

Ron

Cabriolet and Convertible are the same.
You are correct, SE stamds for Super Fuel injected. Your car has mechanical fuel injection unlike the electronic fuel injection of current models.
