Hi Guys,

I need help... got a 124 series 200 merc with a cracking sound if i go over a crevice or a drain cover in the road... had the springs retampered and new shocks installed... what could be causing that?

Please advise!!!

 

could be all kinds of things. really need to get under there and
make sure that everything is tight. was it there before the repair?
if someone else did the work you need to have them check it out.

 

I have found the problem... I spent some time under the car and found that the bracket form the chassis to the stabaliser on the suspension was broken... had it welded back together and working like a bomb... thanx a stack...
