Yesterday, the ignition key would intermittently not turn the ignition, I had to hit lock & unlock on remote to start the car. Today, it starts but won't let me shift our of park.
The car has 101k miles.

Help if you can...I'm new to MB & to this forum.

 

hey-it sounds to me like you have a problem with the ESM (electronic selector module) which is your gear shifter-theres a plastic lever inside of the housing that brakes-this is something that willneed to be replaced at a dealership because the new ESM has to be programmed and removed from transport mode using the SDS-hope i can be of some assistance
