Default salty dirt

I have been driving on roads that have salt on them as we have snow now. So the car is covered with salty dirt. Is it bad for the paint finish if the salty dirt stays for a few weeks on it?

Thanks for the replies,

Yes. The sooner you wash it, the better.

Salt eats almost EVERYTHING !!!

Get it off ASAP !

Also if your car doesn't have a good undercoating on it .... you'll be in for a real treat.

Just hope you never need to do any exhaust work in the future.

Good Luck
