Got the 8000k hid installed a while back on my 2007 E63 and recently only the right side having problem. It will turn on when temperature is cold. Once I have it on, it will stay on but right after you turn it off and turn it back on, it doesn't work. (only the right side). And all I can hear is the gear/motor sound from the right headlight but it will not turn on.

I am using the D1S 8000k. I wonder why the left side has no problem but only the right side, does it mean i need to get a new bulb for that?

i seem to have a similar problem on my c180 coupe mine work before i turn the engine over but while engine is running if i turn them off and then back on i get flickering sometimes the right one will stay on. Do you get any bulb failure warning on your dash? at the moment i think it could be somthing to do with the mercedes ecu im currently looking for some resisters that could deal with the problem let me know if you find a solution before i do and ill do the same!
