Default water injection.

I have a 1985 300D manual W123 which I am going to retrofit with a STT emtec turbo kit. i am interested in adding water injection and i'm looking for info on building a system .
I also have a 300SEL 6.3 which pings like crazy on todays fuel so I'll be building one for that too.

I like the set up you have. It is what i have been thinking of building. Do you have a controller in line with your tacho? .
I was thinking of using brass nozzles from industrial diesel burners. This is to atomise the water .Being under pressure this should easy.

How does this affect your exhaust temperature?
most of the info in my part of the globe is for gasoline engines running 13-1 and higher compression and not really of much help to me.

The nozzles i have been looking at are brass with stainless steel inserts .I'll check with the suppliers tech guy about the fluid volume through them,ie water.
...our news tonight is full of gloom about the asians forcing up the price of ol causing fuel prices to rise. Time to get my other diesels up and running i think.
