I use the Rotella, I have a '89 190D 2.5 (non-turbo) automatic. Little cranky when it first starts 'cause it is so cold, but after 5± minutes it levels out and hums like a dream.

I have a lot of T6 Rotella left over from my Powerstroke phase. I'm deliberately not investigating too seriously whether or not that's a good choice for my OM642 until I have depleted some of my inventory.
