Default Vacuum and Transmission issue

Is there a diagram or data out there that shows on the vac system at various points along the system what the vac should be at varying points along the system?. 300d 2.5 engine 602.96 has a basic diagram, if i hook into the pump i get one value. If i hook into the control valve going to vac modulator i get one value, the value is not low enough according to the book so i checked the whole system and found that at varying parts along the system the vac varies, this is of little use. If i knew what the values were supposed to be say at the brake, or the boost regulator, part y31/5 or at egr valve, etc, it would help to determine where the problem lies.
Transmission is shifting much better after i found hoses off and some leaks but could still be better, the vac control valve is not seeing the vacuum that it should inorder to get the output that it should..
any help any diagrams any data ?
