So my turbo has started squealing like MAD...

I was thinking I could just stick another used on in there.. but I was wondering, is there another replacement I could use, that spools a bit faster?

I dont really need more boost on the top end, but getting it up to PSI quickly would be nice...

or any other thoughts on non-stock replacement turbos?

and im not opposed to installing an EGR gauge if needed ;^)

EGR blocked
No Cats
Straight pipe exhaust (no muffler)
ALDA removed
325k miles..

is there a way to tell the 2 turbos apart easily in the junkyard?

So another question.....I'm pretty sure Ialready know the answer.. but what happens if you run this motor without the turbo? assuming a person has installed the correct bypass piping?

Running like that wont damage the engine with lower input pressures or anything?

Well I guessI know of people (grandparents) that drives these carsin such a way that they NEVER spool the turbo...

Can't you rebuild your turbo? I don't know the answer, I'm just asking.
