Can anyone provide the proper transmission pressure per the technical data manual for '84 300SD? Or is it OK to just adjust the T key until it feels OK. I've checked the vacuum to the valve on the injection pump and set it to 6.5 with 10MM distance from the stop. Also, checked all throttle linkage lengths per service manual. Replaced the little fingers on the vacuum switches on top of the valve cover too. Adjusted bowden wire so there is very very slight slack so the upshift occurs around 3000 rmp under moderate acceleration.

My '85 300SD shifts so nice and this 84 shifts OK but pretty slow to downshift unless you press the pedal all the way down, just before engaging the electric downshift switch.
