Default Question

I have a 1987 300D turbo and recently I was driving around town and I was on the highway cruising around 65mph and I started up a sligt incline and the car dramatically slowed down to 50 mph and seemed to strugle up the hill even though I had the accel pedal all the way down. Is this something I should be concerned about? Now I know diesels don't do well going up hills but it normally doesn't do that bad especially on that road.
