Default No start after reaming glow plugs

81 300SD, om617 turbo diesel. was my daily driver until i decided to order a glow plug reamer from mercedessource.com....

ran fine before reaming plugs. now i cant get it to start. i was having issues with it starting in single digit temps, which is why i reamed the plugs in the first place. i originally just reamed the holes, all were pretty clogged up with carbon. i didnt vacuum out any carbon, so i was thinking it had clogged the prechamber holes or become stuck on the valves giving low compression.

things ive done to try and get it started:
  • pulled injectors, put in monark nozzles, pop tested & balanced to 2100 psi
  • while injectors were out, confirmed all 5 glow plugs actually "glowed", replaced bad or weak ones
  • poured marvel mystery oil through prechambers to soak rings, let it soak for 5 days
  • replaced battery with brand new group 49 from walmart
  • replaced starter with autozone reman
  • compression test- highest cyl. was 190, lowest was 70. i think i did it wrong, i used the injector holes but didn't use a heat shield
  • valve adjustment about a month ago
  • verified no air in hard lines or ip
  • tried spraying wd-40 in intake while cranking
  • installed saab al129x alternator (115A)
i havent been running on veg lately because its been really cold here in Denver.

thinking maybe timing chain somehow slipped? or maybe the valve adjustment nuts slipped giving me bad compression. im planning on checking these two things tomorrow, as well as doing a proper compression test using glow plug holes. will also try spraying wd40 directly into the turbo while cranking. id like to check the IP timing as well, will i need to adjust it now that my injectors are popping at 2100 psi? i'm not sure how this could have been knocked out of adjustment while reaming gp holes. how do i check it?

any other ideas?

ForcedInduction, i noticed you live near denver. i'd really like to check out the mods you've done to your benz. i'm hoping to install a water injection system (once i can get this beast started) to possibly steam clean carbon and veg oil residue from cylinders and hopefully increase compression.
