Well I got my diesel.It's a 85 300sd turbo.I love this car!I got it for around 500 dollars.Traded an old 90's mustang from it.The wife likes it too.Notice the back wheels are bowing out took to the mb dealer and they won't touch it for under 2000 dollars.I plan to do all the work my self,(chief engineer on towboat) the service manger said it was the upper control links,or the touqsion links he was sure,but he would do it for 2000 dollars!How hard a fix is this?Is it a upper control arm or a touqsion link set up?and one more question who has the best repair books for this car and does anyone have a pics of the underside of this car. thanks alot

 

The best repair book is the factory service manual. You can order it online from the MB Classic Center. It's even usually less expensive than a Haynes or Chiltons.
