Arrow newbe with an 85 300sd

Got it last night things a tank I love it. Have some issues n hope I can get some help.
Issues: speedo, tach, odo,Crouse control all dont work. The oil seems low but don't know since there's no markings on the dip stick n I don't know how to read it. Also Tranny shifts hard, n seems like I have to floor it for it to move! Also for upgrades im gonna change the radio tint the windows take off the muffler n make a cai but inclosed utilizing some oem parts just need to know where to reroute the oil breather tube on top of the stock airfilter canister?
Please help will post pics soon!

Awesome thanks for the reply!
So I went to get a new air filter n the only one they have is 68$! Its a taller skinnier one then the one they keep comming up with. Also checked for broken vaccum lines n they all look good. Replaced 90% of the fuses but havent had a chance to try the cruse control. But half the cluster tack speedo n odo still dont work.

From a federal model 300SD you will need;
Air filter assembly
Oil supply and return tubes
Intake and exhaust manifolds
Exhaust down pipe
Turbo compressor cover without recirculation valve, or the whole turbo

You can reuse your turbo if you change the compressor cover and rotate the turbine housing. Its cheapest if you get your parts from a pick-n-pull yard.
Yep I sure do.
Thank you for the help and the replys by the way.
Would it be any benefit of of getting the intake and exhaust manifolds n upgrading the turbo for a power increase with everything els stock?

Bummer. I would like to make a few more poneys. was thinking air-air intercooler, manual boost controller?, straight pipe (love the sound of turbos), adjust the IP as needed. On a budget of $1k for upgrades n needed parts.

$1k will not cover the cost of an upgraded pump, you'll need a budget closer to $2000 to get beyond 145hp. But the good news is getting to that 145hp is nearly cost free!
Awesome! Also thanks for the tips/help.
Yeah I figured $1k was low but gonna focus on fixing my cluster n center consul and getting a federal doner car for the parts but come income tax ill have another $2.5k to play with!
