Default need to lower idle E300D

I put new injectors in my E300D and it idles so very fast that I couldn't hold it at a stop sign. had to screw in smoke control to even drive it. of course that lowered the idle a bit but it lowered the power and makes the car hardly able to go up a hill. Desperate for someone to tell me where the idle adjustment is.
I have even totally disconnected the linkage so I know it is not that.

Thanks Forced Induction. I'll give it a try today. I had already taken off the (solonoid?) with the two wire connector and it seems to be the kick up for the AC (just guessing) but I notice that in your very welcome diagram the adjustment is above it. I noticed when I took off the solonoid that the wires are burnt and I cut and uncovered the wiring harness and many wires are burned so I have a long haul in the future. I had done a lot of benz diesels in the 80s and befrore but they had very little electronic features on the pumps. Only the shut off. This is new to me.
Thank you sincerely for your diagram and I will look for the adjustment. Phil Rishel
