Default Need help - electrical malfunction

1986 190D. Love my car, but.....came home last night, shut off the key, dash lights left of outdoor temp readout came on, (gen, oil level, etc) and a buzzing noise came from behind the glove box. Only way to get the lights out and stop the buz was to disconnect the battery. Anyone had this happen to them? Anyone know what the buzzing could be ... relay maybe?

I'm thinking maybe I should be looking for a stuck relay. Any advice appreciated.

Anyone know if wiring diagram is available on www?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Don't know anything about 190D. But this is what I would do without the schematics. Remove one fuse at a time until the buzz or light goes off. At least you would be able to identify roughly what is wrong. If there is a cross wire somewhere then it will be difficult to locate.
