what mufflerthat is afforable (below $200)do u guys suggest for a 300SD, i want some growl than putt putt on my 300SD

i have a 300SDL with a hole in his resonator do u think my 1984 300SD resonator will fit into my 1987 300SDL, and if the resonator is remove and only the muffler is on the noise will increase, right?
