Its a big help to know 'exactly' what I am driving, espeically when trying to fix it. Which brings me to this embarassing problem. After considerable searching, I am still not 'exactly' sure what specific model my 123 is.

Ok, looks pretty obvious that its a 123.133. Which according my searching calls this model: 300D T 82-85 (years) 123.133 617.952(engine)

Ok simple enough. 300D, 300 series, Diesel. T-Turbo right?

While looking for the stock specifications of this model, I came across references to non-turbo versions of the 300D (I was not aware they existed until now) According to this site: http://www.biodieselresource.com/diesel-vehicles

Three 300D's exist in this model year...

So now my confusion, Is this information correct? a 300D from 84-95 putting out 109HP, and a 300D-Turbo from 81-85 putting 125HP? If this is true how do I determine what I have? I can assume, its the 300D-Turbo, rated at 26mpg according to this chart. According to my 27mpg first tank would suggest that is the one I have as well. If you ignore the cute little turbo that hides under my HUGE air-filter.

If 125hp is infact what I should be rated at, It gives new meaning to my other post about the extremely poor performance I am getting at all throttle/speeds that I am trying to diagnose.

I will be road tripping this from Nevada to Chicago Area in about a month, I would love to meet a couple other benz-heads on the way, maybe share some advice and experience!
