I need help, I call my mechanic and he said the noise I am earing is from the "steering wheel" need oil, what is the best oil for an 87D, also can I drive the car safely. Thanks

 

So is the noise coming from inside the cabin or outside? It could be a bad ball joint if coming from the outside

 

What is "steering wheel" oil? I'll assume you're referring to power steering fluid? If that is the case, just remove the wingnut on top of the p/s reservoir and pull the cap off to see if it's low on fluid? If it is, top it up( you may as well replace the filter while you are in there as well,the filter is pretty cheap ).
