Looking at 1982 300TD

Default Looking at 1982 300TD
Two things I noticed on this car. The oil cooler is a leaking mess. There is oil coming out the engine oil fill cap. Is this a sign of blowby? May just be a seal as the car has 307K but wondering about the blowby?
any help would be great, thanks,

Here is the oil leak

Wonder if I can flip the old gasket over
