Hood and Tach

Blind and dumb- how do I get the hood to go 90 degrees? Anybody put a tach in a 300d? Any suggestions?

There are tabs on the hood hinges to open the hood 90 degrees. Open the hood, pull the tabs on both sides, and it will go up.

Sorry no ideas on the tach!
