I have a 1991 300D. My wife called me last week and said "the car won't shut off". I got home and pushe the stop lever, and started checking around under the hood. I found one of the vacuum line broken off from the blue "flying saucer", and realized that the actual nipple was broken on the amplifier. I cannot find the part anywhere and when I called the dealer today, he told me that they no longer made the part!!!! The part # is 1233001133.

What the heck can I do?

assuming u have not tried used parts we have a pull a part {junk yard}they are good about getting the car u need if not already on lot,if your area does not have a p,a,p. there are others,u pull it plus,diesel giant,auto giant some thing like , that is a good place to try on line,also I get some from eBAY have a $5oo 83 300d that I am fixin up good luck
