Default Help ! Need Radiator for '91 350SDL

Can't find a new radiator or even good used for my '91 M-B 350SDL Pert No. 126 500 53 03--Mercedes does no longer stocks them. I've Google everything I can think of and so has my mechanic. I've written Nissen, Behr Hella with no luck. I live in Mobile, AL and radiator shops do not want to work in them. Center of core is cold after driving at temps bouncing off 100C. Would appreciate all the help I can get.

Gauge needle is not 'bouncing'--my wrong use of phrase. Just did a major head replacement, timing chain, tensioner job and car runs great. Previous to this it had been running just below 100c on very hot days here in Mobile but usually between 85 and 90. I'm now desperate to find a radiator since they have been discontinued. I want to keep this car forever. Any ideas? Could not make out the color of the coolant you recommended. Do you have a name brand? Noel in Florida recommended 100% Mercedes coolant, no dilution.

Thanks for this good information and sorry for late reply. Was actually traveling in Colorado and staying in Conifer.

Thanks and my mechanic figured that out as well. Don't remember where I left this but radiator was professionally flushed with good flow rate, all sensors/senders replaced, and pyrometer reads 84C while temp gauge still reads just under100C. Temp/Fuel/Oil cluster is suspect because Fuel gauge has not been accurate for a while, oil gauge flutters somewhat, and temp gauge now does not seem to be accurate. Now my problem is finding a replacement gauge cluster and there does not appear to be repair available. M-B discontinued the cluster and nothing available on EBay. Any thoughts on where to find the gauge cluster?
And thanks again
