Hi folks, I need alittle assistance. I have a 300SD and the low end baring as gone. The mechanic I use is very good and reliable. he said I could get a new engine installed for $3700.00. My question is, can that bearing be repaired or is that the only alternative ( new engine). Does any body know of someone who can repair something like this?
