After turning engine off all is normal. At times though seconds maybe minutes later there's a sound in the dash (kind of like a mouse),then the battery light on dash will come on as if the key is in the accessory position and the guages will have some movement in them. Sometimes if you try to start the car with all of this going on the plugs will not cycle and car will not start.
Never the less it drains the battery. At some point all of the above will stop and car will start. I do not believe theres a mouse in the dash because the noise is repetative,almost sounds like it may be the duct opening in the vent.
Besides the "mouse",there's a mumming sound as if the fan is on,but the sound is in ,the area of the glove box.
