Diesel won't stay started. HELP!URGENT!
I bought a used, well cared for 240d that just needed minor maintenance and cleaning. Recently I went through to locate throttle linkage components that had worn plastioc bushings for replacement. I found one near the air cleaner, a hook-like link, removed it to clean it. The car will not now stay started after re-installation. I noticed my idle speed cable is not well adjusted either, but the car stayed running before even though I had not adjusted it.
I need HELP!
What did I do?
Where can I get a manual that shows the diesel fuel system throttle linkage set-up? I found the old 123 chassis manuals and Haynes is useless.
Pls send any answers here or offline to cw4dtu@wideopenwest.com.
Thanks! I will return the favor and translate anything you need into English.

I tried looking for you, but to no avail.
I thought of someone who could help. the Guys at DieselGiant.com might know. Try emailing them, I sent them a couple of email questions a while back and they were helpful and very polite.
